First Draft is Complete!

Yes, you’re read correctly. The first draft, though I’ve been editing as I go, of my manuscript for The Keepers of Eire is complete. I typed “The End” at 5:30 p.m. California time. I even had to make a brief stop at Office Depot to reload my favorite pen’s ink. There’s a story there that my writer friends know all about. If anyone’s interested, you can check out the blog on CWC Tri-Valley’s website at: http://www.trivalleywriters.org.

I’m ready to lift a pint in celebration.

Ushering out 2011, welcoming 2012

Happy 2012! My writing goals for the new year are listed, but I wanted to do a little self-promotion on several writings of mine that were published in 2011. In Voices of the Valley: First Press, the CWC Tri-Valley’s first anthology, I have two selections. The first is an excerpt from The Keepers of Éire entitled Revelations. The second is The Keepers of Éire, a synopsis of my novel in poetic form (notice the poem forms the Emerald Island? Or as close as I could fit the words). This edition can be purchased via http://www.createspace.com/3739063 or through amazon.com

My second writing success is my poem Dreams, published online at www.poetslane.com/Monthly%20Poetry.htm

A sincere thank you to all my blog followers, my writer friends who have helped me become a better writer, and to my family and friends for loving me enough to indulge me in my passion.
